Default C6 jacking question

I need some help from a member who can give me the approximate dimension from center to center of the preferred jacking locations on the front & back of a C6. Harbor Freight is selling a nice jacking beam that telescopes out to 37", will this be long enough? thanks

If you lift it on the pucks how do you put the jack stands in place? I'm considering picking one of these up as well.

either lift from the sides and put stand underneath, or lift from underneath and put stands on the sides. Or lift from underneath and put stands underneath too lol. It just depends on what you need to accomplish at the time.

Or get a lift and be done with it. It is black friday afterall

I don't think you use pucks when jacking from the rear or the front. I'm redneck a piece of 2x4 works great!

The harbor freight cross beam adjusts in just far enough to work on the front and rear jacking points...I jack up from the rear , and still have enough room to place jack stands in the rear next to the jack.. WW

I have the harbor freight unit and can't put the stands onto the corvette cross member. Any thoughts on using the a arms for the jack stands?
Currently I put the stands under the harbor crossbeam and it works fine but would like to use the same cross beam to jack up the other end

The lifting inserts (pucks) are only if you are lifting from the rails. They fit into the shipping slots on the rails to avoid damage to the rocker panels.

On the subject of jacking, where is the best jacking point for a DIY oil change?

You can lift the front using the Harbor Freight cross beam or from the sides using the forward frame rail jacking puck locations. Either one will work fine, just remember to use jack stands to support the car while changing the oil and filter.
