Default Knee bolster temp sensor?

Hi

Just picked up an 09 base. Got a DTC for clutch position sensor so I replaced the sensor today and flushed the clutch fluid.

I removed the knee bolster and that flimsy plastic panel so I could get to the clutch position sensor.

I noticed there is a sensor attached to the bolster, but never noticed where the wire connects to, can someone shed some light on this? I had an 05 and don't recall it having this sensor.

After flushing the fluid the pedal seems like it has a mile of travel and doesn't engage off the floor any more. Does that sound normal? Been driving the car for a month and now its going to take some getting used to.

Thanks!

Can't help with the clutch but the sensor is for inside air temperature. Your 05 did have one too.

The normal area for the clutch to engage is nearer to the top of travel vs the bottom (floor).

Good to know about the engagement point. Just need to find the connector for the sensor, guess it fell into the center console. Might be more trouble than its worth.
