LED fog lights from JW Motoring
So I got a set of these new fogs from JW Motoring and installed them today. All I can say is....WOW! I had upgraded mine from OEM to a set of HID's from another vendor but was underwhelmed at the performance. I got "better" but I wanted "best". Very happy with these and can't wait to see them at night. These pics were in broad daylight on a sunny 70* day. One shows headlights and one new fog light, the next is same but no head lights, and last is both new fog lights. The thread I got them in is here.

I was at the Grand Canyon on Sunday and man these fogs were awesome.
I'm gettin up in age and seeing at night has become a challenge. These really helped.

I bought and installed the fogs and the interior lights also last weekend and agree well worth it. Took a little drive around our lake the other night and the fogs are like another set of low beams. I really like the color mostly white with a touch of blue. JW I sent you a pm.

My impression with these after an hour of riding around last night. It's like a different type of high beam. Where high beams point out further ahead, these show a much wider range so all the side and above the car shows very well. I switched several times between high and fog only to compare and it's just amazing. 30 feet high and 30 feet wide is super easy to see vs head lights alone. When cars are approaching, I can see the drivers face where before I couldn't because the projector low beams don't shine that high. I'm even considering buying a backup set for in case these stop working one day. Great product.

1. If you can see the driver's faces, are they being blinded? They are with high beams and they are if my low beams are misadjusted.
2. Just how long do these last? I've seen some say it's supposed to last 10K hours, or 100K hours, etc. But what is the life expectancy of these LED lights? When I drive, I see LED bulbs burned out in cars---don't know if it's poor construction, poor installation or road vibration.

55k rated hours of life. I'm backing them with a 3 year warranty too. I've been using a set of version 1 for headlights for 2 years with no issues. They get used a lot too.
You're probably seeing burned out HID bulbs. Those are normally the cheaper kits.

Another thing I noticed is that street signs are much more visible now, likely due to the paint that is in them and the area these fog lights show (higher off the ground).

I think what it is, the projector headlights are purposely pointed more towards the road so seeing a driver is not usually likely. That area of view is usually dark but not anymore. I don't think they're being blinded though. Similiarly, when I pass a police car, I can now see a reflection of the light bar on the roof where before I couldn't.

There is still time to save on a set for everyone looking to upgrade:

If the weather here would cooperate I'd install mine. Have had them a month now and it keeps raining on the weekends.
