Default Is it wrong...

Is it wrong that I'm looking forward more to the 15-hour drive in my 08 vert to visit my family for the holidays than I am with seeing my family?

If it is.....too bad. How can you not be excited at any chance at a road trip in this...

Yeh,, they sure are---bring on the "along the way" pics. And, that is pretty funny about the trip vs. actually being there amongst the group.

Very sad attitude that is so typical these days. If you really tried you could make it at least a 20 hour trip, why settle for just 15?

Great looking car and I hope you enjoy both the trip and your family Christmas. Travel safe.

The majority of the trip will be on 80-85mph roads that are completely straight and flat, so any "uninvited" visitors can be seen from miles away.

I agree.
Beautiful car, CE! I like the way the stripes carry through on the waterfall and the front license plate (if ya gotta have one) centered instead of the one's that are askew.

Thank you.

I really love the stripes and how well they came out. Nobody thought it was going to look good until I brought it home from having the stripes installed. Now everybody can't get over how much nicer the car looks.

She's just as clean right now as she was in the picture, and has new ceramic brake pads all the way around to keep the dust off the new wheels during the trip (OEM pads were HORRIBLE ). The license plate came with the car, but I'm glad it did; I have to have one in Texas, and I think this is the best looking one out there.

15 hours gets you along way from home, mind if I ask what part of the country your heading to.

I drove my Corvette this past February to visit family, but when I woke up in the morning an unexpected snow storm dumped 6 inches of snow on my car. I had to leave it parked for three days while waiting for the snow on the roads to melt. I tried to get out of the parking lot on the 2nd day, but couldn't get any traction on the ice.

I was thinking of getting those same stripes for my Vert - where did you get them?

Is it wrong to say you can't wait till the last kid leaves so you can do road trips with just the wife in the corvette? LOL

Almost there...
