When I set my cruise control, the speed message that shows on the dic is always 1mph faster than the speed displayed on the HUD. Obviously they should be the same. Anybody else notice that? How would you sync them?

Havent put many miles on her yet but I did notice the same exact thing. I'm going to hook up my laptop to it and see if I get exactly the same thing as the HUD, I'm assuming I will. But hoping someone says the answer is not needle adjustment like I'm guessing it will be. For the moment I'm not worried about the 1 mph I might be off as the officer is going to be much more concerned with the other 100mph I'm doing over the speed limit, and guessing he'll let me slide on the 1 mph difference if I beg.
Mine has been off by 1mph since the day I bought it new. One day for the heck of it, I set up my phone, GARMIN, built in NAV for a destination; once out on the interstate I set my cruise control to 80MPH.
Garmin, HUD & phone displayed 79mph; DIC & phone displayed 80mph ... talk about driving someone with OCD crazy
Mine does the same, although I have seen them match occasionally. I just assumed the difference is most likely due to the tenths of MPH that the display on the HUD doesn't recognize, and that the DIC rounds up to account for, while the HUD doesn't round at all.
This is unacceptable! Actually, never noticed it but I don't normally display speed on the DIC. When I set the cruise, it temporarily displays the setting on the DIC and that matches the HUD and my Garmin. Does the factory NAV even display speed?
Now I'm going to have to delve more closely into this. Good thing I drove the GS today.
