It's weekend time and I need my fix! It is too cold to get it out! 30˚
I hear you Paulie... I have 2 Vettes in the garage and can't drive anything but my truck.
With extreme summer tires on both of them ,it would be suicide trying to drive them in freezing weather......Come on spring...WW
i live in boise idaho and we have had a foot of snow for almost a month now, and yesterday was the first day it has melted, today is 45 degrees and i will be getting her out finally, every day i check the weather and keep hoping, well today is that day, what makes it all worst is i got a supercharger installed and tuned and couldn't even drive it because the next day after tuning it snowed

I feel your pain, I live in NJ. I took the car out yesterday though. I couldn't take it anymore, I had to take it for a ride. I bought the car a few months ago in October and it's killing me that I can't at least drive it. The other downside is, the roads really s*ck in cold weather states, especially in the winter. I couldn't find a nice piece of asphalt for the life of me yesterday. But it did feel good rowing through the gears of the 6 speed. I envy you guys in warmer states. Someday I will be joining you, but it won't be for awhile, I have to wait until I retire someday in the far off future. This is me , but I aspire to be this guy .

I went to Boca Roton Florida last summer to visit some relatives... Believe me when I say , that's not a place you want to spend the summer.. , the air was so humid it was like breathing water... The summers in our area are much more pleasant then Southern Florida, we can at least go out of the house in summer and enjoy ourselves. So it's really a trade off, we can't go out and enjoy winter , but it's really not enjoyable down there in summer, at least not for me....WW

You are probably right. Maybe not Florida for me, but somewhere in between FL and NJ should fit the bill. I use to love the change of seasons in NJ, but as I get older I start to feel like the summers are too short and the winters are too long.
Supposed to be 43 degrees here today and it may get warmer but it hasn't melted the remaining 3 1/2' of snow we have. Too much mud and snow............

Am I on the Harley Forum here? MAYBE too cold for the bike but not for the Vette, we're almost neighbors so our weather is the same. The streets are clear of salt, no ice or snow anywhere, good day for a ride. Tomorrow's supposed to be nicer IIRC...I was out yesterday to Port Jeff for a front end alignment then down to Patchogue, all clear! Drive it Buddy!
