There is no special paint on your 2012 C6 ... Any high quality wax / sealant that works well on any other car will certainly work well on your C6.

I try to clean my car using good soap so that it keeps the shine longer. I highly recommend this wash and wax as it has been the best one I have found on a black car. Of course it does not replace a true wax job but more of an after care.

Welcome to the forum and Corvette ownership. A few things first...its either a 2012 or a C6, not both. C6 means sixth generation of Corvettes produced from 2005-2013 model year. During that time, there were base cars, GS (Grand Sports), Z06's, and ZR1's built in coupe and convertible (no Z06 or ZR1 convertible). Look in the glove box for a list of codes that will tell you what options your car has.

Use whatever you like. But if you want suggestions on good products Im a fan of chemical guys. I like the 50/50 concourse paste wax with 2 coats os jet seal paint sealant. All there products are quality.
