The stock ride height did seem to vary car to car. A friend of mine and I both have original 13 GS coupes, his sits 1" higher than mine. Neither one has had any suspension changes, both had about 10k on the ODO at the time.

Not sure there is such a thing as "stock ride height". It sits where it sits. If you don't like it, lower or raise it. As previously said, not every car is the same.

Actually, I believe I've seen posts by knowledgeable members in this forum before that gave the factory specs for body height from the top of the wheel arch to the ground. Prolly find it pretty easily with a search.

Look at Post #10 in this thread.
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...lt-height.html
Look at the "P"(front) and "R"(rear) heights.
Measure from the ground to the top most part of the wheel opening.

Thanks for the numbers. The 2010 and 2013 specs seem identical, but the 2009 are slightly different, and somewhere between 2005 and 2008 there was an earlier change.

I use the 2010 and later specs for our 2009, figuring there was probably a good reason for the change since the bodies are identical. High speed stability? Less drag? Who knows...
