Front splitter looks nice but probably not for long.
Side skirts looks like a wrapped 2x4 to me. Just look out of place in that pic. Might look better in person I bet.

Im a total fan of wider stance cars and i really think the corvette can have that with the skirts it looks wider from the side angle.
But the most important thing It's your car and you have the live with it. So do what every you want. If you live in a city with speedbumps and potholes and you are not willing to maneuver around them. Then keep it this way. I live in europa and my city has recreated my street and some speedbumps for my cars because i could not enter it normally :-) if the car has passed inspection it should be able to drive everyware if not here it's the city's problem not your's

Do what you want. I put them on my base 08 coupe almost two years ago( skirts and splitter in fiberglass) I painted them and installed them. Lowered a little as well. You just need to be more aware when driving, especially on interstates with all those tractor trailer tire carcasses lying around. The only problem I've had with mine is when I cut a curb in a parking lot and scratched the passenger side skirt.
But, I did my "add ons" to make me happy, trying to make others happy will only make you unhappy.
