Default Major problem

I am in dire need for some suggestions. I have a 2006 Base corvette. I cannot get the monitors to reset. I even took it to a specialist that deals in this kind of repair. o2 sensors, heated cats, and evap system are the problems. I really need some help. Any suggestions would great. Thanks so much.

Your post is really vague. Do you have specific codes? Symptoms?

Heated CATS? Maybe you mean the heaters for the 02 sensors.
You may have to drive it some if you haven't for a while and get the needed drive cycles in. Or you may have real problems setting the codes.
Sometimes this could be a sign that your battery is getting weak, have it "load" tested to be sure, new or old, could be a issue that needs to be addressed first.

I meant heated 02 sensors. It has been driven. 25 miles , 50 miles, 100 miles. Still the same. No check engine light came on. AND no codes to erase and start all over again. I took it to Chevrolet dealer for the problem. Same result. NO codes. Even their high dollar scan machine show the same as my hand -held scan tool. NO CODES to reset. They are puzzled also. They ran it through Chevy recommended procedure. Same results. I simply don't know what to do. It has been trouble free for 11 years.

This is exactly what the emission test revealed. Cat converter NOT READY. Evap system NOT ready. Heated oxygen sensor NOT ready. Oxygen sensor NOT ready. Check engine light is OFF.

I don't know enough about HP tuners and other chevy ecu tuning software, but is it possible someone disabled emissions on the ecu and you need to have the ECU unmodded or reflagged with factory firmware.

This would be a good suggestion since you and the dealer are not "seeing the monitors not ready"?

If you can find somebody with access to HP Tuners I can show you exactly what to change in your tune to have everything show as ready, without having to do the stupid drive cycle.

I have an HP tuner but it has never been opened. My son got it for my birthday 2 years ago. I just bought the complete deal from cow. We'll get thing fixed with his tune. After talking to him I have complete confidence in him. Smart guy. Thanks for your help.

Chuck has saved me from lighting the car on fire! After countless "shops" and tuners told me " that's as good as it gets " I was about to say enough is enough!!! Chuck sold me AutoCal and together we were able to troubleshoot! Best investment to date, not only the AutoCal but with Chuck!!

THANKS CHUCK!
