Recall clarification
I'm in the market for a C6. I found a 2006 that I may be interested in. The Carfax shows that it has an open recall for the low-beam headlamp defective issue. Considering its age (over 10 years old) will GM cover the repair? Just trying to weigh whether or not I want to spend my time to go look at the car. I'd like to purchase something that doesn't require a ton of maintenance the second I drive it home.

I believe that recall being a safety issue has no expiration date and should be covered, and I'm still getting notices to have mine fixed. (2006 also)
Maybe worth while calling a GM dealer with the VIN and confirm the recall status.

Next time that car goes to a dealership they'll fix it no charge.
