I don't know of any expert but there are performance shops around though. I just purchased the accelerator pedal from rockauto, that'll be my last purchase. I wonder if the Vitesse Throttle Controller has anything to do with it. I'll fiddle with that tomorrow.
I would take that controller out and see what happens afterwards.
I have read reports here about some issue with this controller giving some problems like yours.
Did you remember to check the wiring and connection for cleanliness at the TB, like I suggested earlier?

That's the plan tomorrow with the VTC. I checked the wiring and connection. MAF looked clean and was still shiny. MAP looked clean as well. I plan to look over them again just to double check.
"Reduced Engine Power" came back on after 20+ miles of driving. TB isn't the problem and I now have a mint conditioned one. Next course of action will be buying a new pedal.
I have the same issue replace pedal with no luck, replace 6 terminal connectors no luck, this is a voltage issue waiting for it to happen again but I am dealing with my local Chevy dealer who is in touch with gm and they tell them what to do. I think the next step is to replace all of the wiring to the ecu, been driving the car little more now with no promblem lmk what happens to you and I will do the same good luck

I didn't have time to remove the VTC, I will tomorrow. Also my accelerator pedal comes in tomorrow too. I will update soon. Thanks

I would unhook the Vitesse ... or recalibrate it ... this would have been the first thing I did before spending $300 on a throttle body. before you throw more money and parts at it re calibrate
They have been known to go out of calibration or might not have been calibrated correctly in the first place
Its a simple 1 minute process , hold both the A & B button down , watch the count down 3 , 2, 1 then the letter L will show with a number , this is the low point and is now set
Now depress just the A button once and on the display will be an "H"
Depress the pedal to the floor and press the " A" button again and you should see " A 100 " now release the pedal
you are now calibrated , turn the key off and then start the car
I would be willing to lay money on the fact that this will fix your issues

I'll do that tomorrow. The VTC never crossed my mind when it happened, only after when I bought the throttle body. Thanks.
So I disconnected the Vitesse Throttle Controller and no more "Reduced Engine Power". I drove 30+ miles and WOT a lot. The VTC may be the culprit until I put more miles on the vette. I'm going to put 100 miles by Friday evening. I gotta say though, without the VTC my vette feels weak until I WOT. Took me about 15 mins to adjust. Thanks again for the advice CF members.
Today I put 50+ miles on the vette and no CEL. I think it's safe to say that the VTC was to blame. This has been a learning experience. I do miss the bite from the VTC though but i rather have no headaches. It was fun while it lasted and I have no regrets buying the VTC. Once again, thank you CF members.

Are you going to re-program it and see what happens, as Dcasole suggested?
I should of done it first but forgot. I may reprogram it but I don't want to chance it causing permanent damage. Who knows, once day perhaps.
If you understand how the Vitesse works , there is no chance of permanent damage I can assure you . The ecm reacted as it should when it saw the wrong voltage signal coming from the pedal
Sometimes and only sometimes it has been reported that it loses its intial calibration and a simple 2 min recalibration is all that is needed . There were some reports of unintended acceleration etc blaming the Vitesse .... internet ledgend as the ECM drive by wire systems will not let this happen as you have seen ....

Thanks for the info. That eases my mind. I will reinstall the VTC sometime next week or maybe tomorrow.
