Well I used to buy the cheap micro towels from Walmart, because like many I thought a micro towel is a micro towel, Then I accidently stumbled on these chemical guys and was blown away. when my CG towel supply got low I used a cheap Walmart mf towel again and it was then I knew I can no longer use the cheap towels.

I got that e-mail also. I bought a very large stack of those from them last year, and they work great.

The Eagles are borderless, just like Zaino's borderless blonde towels. Just going by the picture you provided, the Eagle towels are going to be much softer. I use them when polishing or waxing and they work great.

Here is a tip for you. Buy the 16 x 24 in size in a 6 pk. They are cheaper than the 16 x 16.

16 x 24 are 2.28 each on Amazon.

The black edging is silk so it is very soft and will not scratch.

The Korean made towels are the best made and the Rag Co. is one of the best sources to buy from.
You should only buy towels with a label specifying the Polyester/Polyamide mix. Most microfiber towels are made with a Polyester/Polyamide mixture. It's the Polyamide content that determines the softness and the Polyester mix helps prevent scratching/swirl marks.

You should get towels with a maximum of 80% Polyester and a minimum of 20% Polyamide. 75/35 or 70/30 are softer. I always rub the towel on a CD to test it. A quality towel won't scratch the CD.
Do not use anything above 80% Polyester, they will scratch.
I buy towels from Sams for wheels, interiors, etc., but their quality is not as good as towels sold by reputable vendors, such as the Rag Co.
I use 420 GSM 70/30 for body paint.

Bobby, the towels you bought are very good.

A six pack of the 16x24 Chemical Guys microfiber towels is $13.72 on Amazon, bringing the unit cost under $3/towel. Went ahead and ordered a couple packs of those...

Now let's talk microfiber towels
In my opinion Adams sells the best selection and the softest microfiber towels. I've used those yellow CG microfiber towels before and I won't touch my paint with them again I use them for strictly window washing and interior detailing. Adams sells a triple soft microfiber towel made from the above Korean company which I believe it is the softest most plush microfiber towel out there. I have both their triple soft and their double soft towels and they are beyond soft. Here are a couple of examples I like to use.

My personal favorite Edge less gray microfiber towel, best towel for the money.
Waffle microfiber towel for my waterless wash set up, I use roughly six of these when I wash my C6.
Double soft towel, this is a very plush towel. I use strictly for removing wax.
This microfiber towel use to be Adams softest towel 9 years ago. I still use this towel today.
Big drying towel from Adams.
I use these towels for my weekly washing.
And of course you can't have these towels without have the proper cleaning agent.

Thanks, after you've felt them and/or used them I cant see any reason to change.
I'm sure some of the other towels are great but for me this is the one I will buy from now on
