key fob question
since i have taken my vette out of winter storage the door locking unlocking seems to be off. when you have the fob in your pocket and go to open the door it should open if i remember correctly. now it seems i have to push the unlock button to get the door to unlock,an ideas

It sounds as though you may have a weak fob battery - - try replacing that first. If you still have issues with the door not unlocking with out pressing the unlock button, something else may be the culprit, like the car battery. Was the battery on a tender during winter storage? You might have it load tested just for posterity.

Most likely low voltage on fob battery. Change it out. I went thru this same thing about 6 months ago.Larry

It sounds like a weak fob battery, but it could also be interference of some sort (cellphone, fluorescent lights, magnets, etc…). Keep in mind, that as your fob battery ages, those things may interfere more, so it could be a combo.
