Default Exhaust Change question

I have a C-6 with this exhaust chrome plate:

I just purchased this after market Axle back system:

Does anyone know if I will still be able to put the chrome plate back on with the new exhaust? The specs say the tubing is 2.5 inches.

i dont think you will know for sure till u put the new axleback on, but the tips arent welded to the mufflers so you do have adjustment.

I think the tips would be somewhat far away from the rear fascia.

Thanks Guys. I think the new ones are 1/2" bigger, and looking at how the plate is attached, it looks like there may be a 1/2" gap between the top plate and bottom plate. If you look close you can see there is a seam. The plate is actually two pieces. I think I can live with that.
