Can aftermarket Bluetooth be added to a 2011 base corvette with 1LT package?

 

There are options out there but I don't know what the specific restrictions are as far as 1LT radio vs. 3LT radio.

I researched this to death before I decided..... Ended up with the Kinivo Bluetooth button tape mounted on my ashtray door..... Wires hide away well, and you just touch the button once when you start the car and touch aux button when you want to use it.... works well 99% of the time.... streams music well, & no complaints from callers on the sound....
I use it almost all the time that I'm in that car, unless I'm listening to traffic or talk radio for a change of pace.....I didn't re sign for satellite because I was almost always streaming thru the Bluetooth...

I originally planned on a Apple car play capable touch screen with back up camera..... But I really didn't want my interior taken apart, and my factory stuff sounded good..... So I decided to spend $30 and try out this Kinivo and have not given it another thought....

And I'm not the type that likes to rig up stuff just to save a buck... If it didn't look great it would have been trashed, even if it worked as advertised....
On a black interior like mine the button and jack blend in and are not a visual issue at all.....
If this was on a tan interior, I would have had to try a less conspicuous mounting location......

Fyi, mine is a 2012 1LT & I have had it installed for a couple of years, with no issues.....

 

My aftermarket unit works fine, even in the console.
