Your title reached out and grabbed me. The cool story really got my attention. I felt bad for you and yet was happy you weren't seriously hurt.
Then after I looked at the photo and glanced back to the story, it struck me that you included the date of the accident.
It's kinda scary, but here at the other end of the country your lady love's twin sister died the evening of the very same day. Let them both be organ donors to breathe new life into one of their kin.
It's a friend's car, so not having his permission, I won't reveal his identity or how it happened.

If you are cruising in someone's rear blind spot, I can see how this type of damage can occur.
My policy is "always be passing" while driving. I never stay in any static position with any vehicle. That's why I have never been involved in an accident. I despise other drivers who do that to me.

yes i always pass police officers, i want to make sure they know i'm there ..
The friend gave me permission yesterday, so it happened at the Irwindale 1/8 mile dragstrip. It was the first time there and his first pass and it was dark. Short story, he kissed the right rear fender against the wall while slowing down after the run. It was enough to spin him across the track into the other wall, which took out the front.
His injuries were minor and he recovered quickly. Although his wallet took a bigger hit. Other than a bug or two who committed suicide on the windshield during the pass, no animals were hurt in the accident. The car has been sold and will be an organ donor.
I enjoyed the read and I'm glad you and your passenger are ok. Keep us posted on how things progress. And a photo of the new mistress will need to be submitted for forum approval!

The new one is posted over in the Official Laguna Blue thread in C7 General. Absolutely nuts but I still keep looking for the old one in parking lots.
Here's the sort of interesting part. I accidentally left a Tile still linked to my phone in the C6. Man is she getting around since she left me. She's been to Macon and is now in Covington. I can't wait to see where she goes next!
