It sounds to me like its a good, sound dependable vette. Why do you need to do anything else? I would just leave it as is.

I wouldn't even change the plugs and wires yet..

Your previous owner sounded ****...

Double check the service history...the plugs and wires are called to be changed every 100k miles...I usually pay the dealer to do it every 50k...

The jobs a bitch....Orem is better quality than aftermarket...and that dam double click on the wires required is a bitch for a novice to get right...

Pay the tech to do the plugs and the wires...

Not getting that double click sucks as the car will not run great after awhile...

Jmo

Other than that...leave the car stock for at least 6 months and enjoy it as it came from the factory...

Congrats...95k miles is nothing on these cars and I change the oil when the DIC says too...

Why change it early...? It's synthetic oil for gods sake...

3000 miles is obsessive with synthetics...

Just make sure your oil level is in range over the extended oil change intervals...

That's where most people screw up in any brand of car with synthetics...

Corvettes for the most part don't burn oil but most cars will consume some oil so keeping the level correct is smart

It's kind of dumb to get down on people because of the way they like to modify their car.

This is just the form vs function argument. Some people like to customize the cosmetics and others like to improve the performance. Most folks favor one philosophy over the other.

It's not just the end users either. Zora Duntov got into heated arguments with Bill Mitchell over these elements while they engineered and designed the cars.

Personally I like the styling of the car as is and my preference is to spend my money on improving performance, making it a more responsive and faster machine.

There are obviously others that feel the handling and power are just fine as is and prefer to spend their money on style and cosmetics.

not quite sure how you think I am getting down on someone for how they modify their cars, I was simply stating WHY I modify my cars and almost all the mods I do are performance related, save for maybe changing the wheels and lowering the car (covers cosmetics and performance)

Lots of great opinions from you all and many thanks.
I have decide to just leave it all alone and enjoy it as is.
It's a great car without doing anything to it.
I'll save the money for things that break or regular maintenance.
I will be changing the plugs and wires my self by starting with the rear drivers side plug that would be the hardest of all. I have changed plugs on my "84" and "99" before so this can't be any harder. If my old hands can't do it anymore I'll have to take it to the dealer, but that would be the last resort. I have some very young friends that would lend a hand (literally) if needed. Thanks again to all,
G

Check out Vette Candy, they have interior leather upgrades that are much better than OEM. I haven't purchased any yet because its expensive, but its on my list of mods to do to my car.

JWMotorsports has great LED interior lights, reverse lights, and tail lights also.

I did bolt ons, exhaust and tune- headers on my 05.

i would leave my next one stock for sure-

it was fun, the results were noticeable but in the end mods on 400 hp plus in a vette for me are **** on a bull.

i say leave it or buy one that is already modified to yuor liking ..

need mods= no= want mods= yes just move up to a newer higher hp rated vette or z 06 and save the effort

I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to say you were bashing anybody, I just picked two opposing views from the comments on the thread. I liked how you said that you wanted yours to "stand out".

and rock on.

Call me an old man, but I just cruise around, rarely pushing it hard. I really can't think of anything else to complain about. I love it as is, plus my days of ripping stuff apart are over.

I know the feeling!
