Default C6 Window Close Delay

I have been doing searches on my specific issue for a couple days now and haven't found my exact issue. Intermittently my driver side window will not go back up and index after closing the door right away. I can get in the car drive off and it will take a minute or two until it closes all the way up. During that time, the button to open the door will also not work.

After driving when I get out, the window will go back up just once. If I open the door again and close it or get back in to go for a drive, it will repeat the issue all over again. I have done the indexing procedure multiple times thinking that would fix but it doesn't. I just replaced the window regulator but haven't done anything with the door button as it intermittently decides not to work as well. Would replacing the button fix all of this?

C6 electronics go off the deep end occasionally resulting in all kinds of weird, one-off symptoms.
Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, re-connect.
Computers all reboot, and while there're a couple very respected, knowledgeable members who believe this is nonsense, it's worked more times than I can recount too.

Try it, disconnect Neg first and if removing both reconnect Pos first.
Idea being, no spark/arch to potentially damage ECM.
Remember both windows will required re-indexing.

Then, deal w/ door button as the two are probably not related.
G/L, post results.

My 2008 C6 130,000 miles started having similar issue too. I close the driver door, and the window will not automatically go down the little bit as normal. I index the window, and it works for awhile and then the problem happens again.

Is there a specific part that is failing? When indexing, I hear the click within the door. Is that click emanating from the failing part?

Wondering the same thing. I do have the computer chip out of the other window regulator that I could swap out and see if it makes a difference. Maybe i'll do that tonight. I also plan on switching the driver and passenger door buttons to see if the driver side button may be bad as well.

I just cleaned up the corrosion on the door switches...they work beautifully now. I'll check to see if that makes any difference. We'll both see...

Yes the index problems was the corrosion on the door switches. Cleaned them us, and the window indexing system works great.
