Not new to vettes....I have owned 3 c5's and 3 c6's in the last 10 years (yeah, I get restless!). Anyhow just bought a 2011 grand sport, my first automatic car...I am enjoying not having to shift as I am 70 and the knees are not getting better. The car only has 26K miles on it, bone stock.
Here's the issue...when I back out of the driveway each morning, as I turn to go forward....there is a crunching from the front wheels...feels like the ABS is activating. This goes away after the first occurence and it drives normal. It also happened in a parking lot yesterday as a backed out of the space....seems to be getting more frequent. There are no warnings on the DIC...anyone have this happen?
Is that what it is....its seems more like crunching like when the abs is engaging...again I have had 5 other vettes, including one with really wide tires and this did not occur.
