Dyno day as promised
Although the numbers are not quite what I expected here it is as I said I would do, no matter the out come.
The "heart breaker" dyno is aptly named
Made 363.1 RWHP, I know its only a number but still
Oh well my butt knows the car is much faster so I'm over it.

don't be too disappointed........... those are pretty good numbers for the mods you have done....
RWHP will be less perceived due to drivetrain / driveline ineffieciencies (loss) and are just the nature of automotive world.......
you are close in RWHP to some others who spent a lot more money on mods and tunes........... no names, but take me at my word!

It sounds about right for a stock GS. Basing it off of 436 hp, you lost about 16% to the rear wheels. Just wondering, is the car stock and what were you expecting the results to be?
edit: sorry I must of missed your other threads. I'm guessing you made some mods?

363 rwhp seems really low to me, the C6 Ls3 typically makes about 370-380 rwhp depending on a manual vs auto trans, what mods did you make?

That's interesting, though not sure on what mods. My base C6 (M6, NPP), no mods, ran 354 HP, and 358 torque as my baseline, on a Mustang Dyno. Have done some things since then and am in the process of working out the tuning. Will head back to the same shop for a new set of pulls once we have completed this process. Hoping to get those numbers around 400, but we'll see. Regardless of the numbers, my butt definitely knows the difference, as do the tires, as even with the traction control on, those tires like to spin at lower RPM and without really hitting compared to latest addition. That said, we do like our numbers, so I feel ya!

Well where do I start Lets see ::::
Mods were Kooks 1 3/4 headers with catted X-pipe, New plugs, MSD wires, NPP
What did I hope for, er, 400+rwhp, I thought that was realistic, watched too many YouTube videos thou that had to be bogus with stock LS3 vettes making obscene hp, laughable
Had no baseline, sorry
Was I aware of the type of dyno used , yes, and that it is notorious for low numbers.
Another member (wont say who) just ran his same car, same mod, on the DynoDynamics dyno but back east with a highly reputable tuner, and had virtually the same ##'s.
Yes I know the saying, its only numbers but don't we all hope to have some bragging rights about how special OUR car is
I absolutely know its faster, positively, than it was, considerably so
There is SO much internet info about what each type of dyno brand does what, that it mystifies logic, but the Dyno-Dynamics has that rep.
I searched quite a lot before and after, heres a little tidbit of some info for the interested,
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=891691
I take it all with a grain of salt, except the black wheel comments
Whatever right , it runs very well, sounds like a jet fighter on full throttle with NPP open and windows down. Drone is considerable with windows up and cruise speed of 1500-1800 rpms, but then that's why there is that switch on my NPP.
The Kooks fitment and supplied hardware was spot-on. I also did the Z-Cool Thermo blanket on the tunnel plate which seems to be very worth while
That's about it, was it worth it as some of you have asked, yes I think so but then we'll see as time goes by, for now I like it
They do a lot of high HP cars so the straps are there for them.
That's about it

Seems low IMO.dynoed bone stock on my A6 pulled a 376 rwhp on a dynojet several years ago.
went back and dyno 2 months ago with boltons for baseline before my blower install.Every car reacts different on the dyno.its just #s.go with a seat of the pants or your butt o meter .if you can run at your track and see where your mph on the top end.

That is where you need a base line stock run on a dyno, then you can compare your % gain relative to the base run.
My stock LS3 was 380hp, after mods 511hp. And this is all I know, I can't compare this to any other data.

C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Don't let the dyno sheet affect anything except your wallet. It was simply a piece of paper that was part of the deal for the price of the tune. The important part was the difference in power between the first pull and the last and knowing it was a positive number. If you never saw the paper or were told the resulting number, the performance increase you felt would still have made you smile.
Just for reference, my first pull ever was 306hp. The tune bumped that up to 320. Three other dynos over the next 7 years peaked at 386, then 411, and finally at 394. The only numbers that really meant anything were on the timeslip and that's when I smiled.
