Default LED Lighting question

I want to install standard LED 3157 bulbs in my tail lights (I dont care for the eagle eyes). I am looking at a couple different versions of Cree Lights. Both are projection type. I am concerned because one seller says they are not compatible with C6. Is there a height limitation when looking at these types of bulbs I should be concerned with. I am just wanting somthing LED that will give me more light than stock and will fit inside my stock housings. Any help would be appreciated.

Talk to Radio Flyer, he has a plug and play system that works well and some really bright LED tail lights. His package comes with resistors too.
