2008 coupe front latches for lift off roof panel

my 08 coupe has the old roller latches. Anyone have experience with the replacements from EKLERS CORVETTE?

The roller latches tend to move laterally in heat or cold, and cause popping sounds. Putting a 3/16" or 5/32" E-clip on the side of the roller will makes the roller so it doesn't move.
