Taking your advice and started the mirrors tonight. They turned out decent for being probably the hardest part to wrap. Halo is next , followed by side splitters and a front splitter.
Agree turned out nice. I was thinking about a CF wrap on my rear diffuser. Local shop quoted me $450 and said he could not guarantee it from possible shrinking at a later date .

Your job looks great.

That's ridiculous. If you were local I would help you do it for the price of a 6 pack. I've been considering starting my own little wrapping side-gig so I take all the experience I can get
The mirrors are done in two pieces though. You can see in person how much curve they have, and I went through a ton of vinyl trying with 1 piece and it just would not lay on the bottom without bunching. They are far from perfect, but I figured it was a great learning experience and they turned out pretty decent
Nice work with the mirrors. Where did you cut the vinyl for the second part?
Very similar to this picture I found on another thread here: There are lines, but they face down enough you don't really see them unless you get up close. And you will have to use two pieces. There's no other way. I also popped out the mirrors themselves as it made tucking it a lot easier.
Also, I didn't remove the mirrors. Depending how good you are with your fingers, I was able to wrap the bottom piece (that attaches to the door panel) with 1 piece, and cut along the rubber with a sharp blade and was able to tuck it in by pushing it down with the dull end of the blade. Saved me a ton of time cause I didn't want to remove the door panels and risk breaking tabs and having rattles.

Glad you fessed up because I did my rear spoiler with CF vinyl, it was looking really good till I came to the very ends, then it stopped looking so good, just too much material and I couldn't get it to lay down, disappointed at that point so I took it off. Beyond my ability, maybe if I had split it into 2 pieces, maybe it would have worked.
Anyways good job, gotta try at least huh
I did do the mirrors on my ole Tundra and they looked OK but I had to stretch the living crap out of the material
NSF
PS Gotta have this little tool, works so good for tucking wrap in

Right..
Yeah I have a little squeegee that helped a ton with getting the stuff tucked. I bet I could pull it off and make it look better, but i'll go down that road when it/if it peels up.
And I think wrapping the exterior a pillars would be hard since they're not smooth like painted surfaces?
