I took a ride this morning and service traction system, service anti lock brakes and service active handling system came up in the DIC. I have a gm scanner and it said right rear wheel sensor circut C0050. Any body ever have this where it was just the sensor? I do have the telescopic wheel and I will check that Monday for a clip.

I had this problem a while back.I checked brake fluid level and it was a little low, topped it off and problem went away.

I jacked it up and the sensor is part of the bearing so so much for changing the sensor. Anyway I cleaned the contacts on the plug with contact cleaner and took the car for a ride to the school parking lot. I lit up the tires did some donuts real hard right and left and knock on wood no codes. Maybe I got lucky, worst case I'll pull the tire and check the sensor for correct ohms and if I have to I can change the bearing/sensor. It looks easy enough.
I'm getting these same messages but my engine won't start. Any ideas?
I can't see how a no start is related. Get a gm icarsoft i900 scanner $120 and it will give all the codes.abs,srs,trany,engine. That's how I found my prob.

Does that scanner tell you what the codes mean as well or does it just give you the codes like a universal scanner? I need to scan my car for a service active handling message and other issues as well and wanted to buy a scanner. Thanks for your input!
Here is a link to a thread I had a while back. My code was C0035. Turned out to be the wheel speed sensor. They replaced the entire hub. Part was $300 or so. 1 hour of labor.

I just bought one because I had a code issue. When I plugged it in I had to put in the fourth number in my vin number and some other stuff. It told me right rear wheel sensor in those words. It does engine trans, abs, srs and other ones. Its supposed to be a GM scanner, and so far it paid for itself already. I cleaned the contacts on the sensor plug and its fine. Icarsoft I900.
Hope this helps.

There are several common things to check when getting this error, they could do a sticky on it... One of those things is the battery, time to replace yours my friend.

Good you have a scan tool that can read more than just P-Codes. Most 99.8% can only read P-Codes.
Wheel sensors are magnetic pickup types of sensors. GM really did us a disservice by assembling the sensor as an unremovable/unserviceable unit. Sensors can get crudded up and cause intermittent failures/dropouts, and or eventually fail completely. I've been able to take out and clean the tips of sensors on other cars and completely restore the sensor to service. Cannot do that here.
