When I start up the car there is a strange odor? any thoughts.

What is the odor like? I get an occasional smell of exhaust (when I start my 2007 with the driver's door open) but that's it. Hopefully you're not smelling raw gasoline. . . .

What kind of smell, does it smell like oil? Exhaust? Gasoline? Smell like rotten water? You've got to give more information!

I'm running Sunoco Non Ethanol Race Fuel in my Grand Sport...It smells like...Race Fuel...& awesome. Garvin's Machine shop near where I live sell the 93 octane Non Ethanol fuel. That's what I get for mine... http://www.sunocoracefuels.com/fuels

I get gas smell every time I crank it up....It didn't do that until I added high flow cats,So I know that's the Culprit....

There is a slight exhaust smell on my 2011 GS upon startup and this is with the windows closed...goes away once you are moving, but I do get some exhaust smell in the car after stomping on it on the hiway...this is with stock exhaust
