I was not there when it happened. All of his cars are kept inside and I never saw a dirty one. He did tell her not to touch his cars, but she did this anyway. I personally would never use one on my car after seeing what happened to his awesome car collection.

Makes sense to me....I've used a Ca Duster on each Vette that I have owned since 2002...one red, one silver, and one black and have always loved the results. That being said , it is an ORIGINAL duster with cotton treated with paraffin oil.....it should be used for removing DUST, as in the stuff that collects on your garage stored vehicle....it was never intended to remove road grime or heavy pollen.

We had our "pine pollen" season here in Vegas about 6-8 weeks ago, now it has changed to pepper tree seeds...they are everywhere.

Yep. This is after parking it for ~three hours:

It's even worse on the blue one.

I remember when I first moved to MD from California and had my dark gray car parked outside. Came out one morning I could not believe the car looked green/yellow.

Live in South East FL and we get all kind of bug/tree crap as well.

Yellow here in Massachusetts and the Vette had been covered in my garage for a few weeks due to that and rain- it's also why my Vette looks nicer than my 2017 RAV4 paint wise.

Have used them for years, when used properly and for the proper purpose (i.e. removing DUST), they work great...have never left scratch marks on any vehicle to include my black ones

Yellow pollen has started here in MI as well, generally have 3-4 wks heavy starting 3rd wk in May and collects everywhere - cars, driveway, windows ... On windy days when at its worst - can see the air full of this stuff along with other tree filth. A challenge to even hose wash the DD cars as starts collecting before can get dried. Just the way it is.

We had Oak tree pollen from the end of February until the first of March. Fortunately it is over now.

I've been searching high and low for a black California duster. I had one before and stupidly got rid of it. Finally found another one, arrives in a couple days. The red ones leave red lint in the window channels which is annoying. Hoping the new one is as good as the one I had years ago.
