When I was test driving mine it started raining. The seller was so upset I honestly thought he might cry.

Up until that point the car had seen nothing but sun. He even mentioned he was going to have to update his ad to remove the no rain part. Ruined his day. So I made him an offer right there.

I have driven mine in the rain a few times. Never leave home while its raining, but have been caught out a few times. We went to Eureka Springs Corvette weekend a couple of years ago. Got about 100 miles from home and the bottom fell out. Rained the whole weekend. That was two years ago. It was miserable. Its a car....it can be cleaned.

I agree. Its just a car. But.....my car is a toy and just a weekend car, if that. I can say with absolute certainty that my 08 vert is worth more than the car that is the same age and is a DD. So mine doesn't see much or any rain either. I might put 1000 miles a year on it. I prefer it that way.
