Default Need help

Good morning people, again with same question=( recently i changed thermostat(for oem).Temperature in NYC is around 80-85 now, when im driving my oil temperature goes to 220-225, sometimes even 235. Coolant temperature is 210-217 in that hot day, when car is stoped,When driving cooling temperature goes under 210 but the engine goes to 225-219. In not very hot weather cooling is 198 and oil 210-215. When cooling temperature is less then 192 the fan is off, more it starts to work at all the fan power. What can i do the release oil and cooling temperature?new radiator?extra oil cooler? any idea with antifreeze ?Please give some advice, im scare dont want my car to be overheating, also how many L of antifreeze do i need to put?

Everything looks normal to me. when cruising at hwy speeds coolant will be around 195-200 on a hot Tx day. Stock thermostat is 190. Oil will be higher than coolant. Car will start to protect itself above 235 coolant.

Heck the fans would not come on till 240 coolant as per GM design on my 85 C4.

Are you sure? The fan has a “low” setting for them the coolant reaches the lower temperature threshold. Fan kicks into “high” when it reached the higher temperature threshold.

If the fan is running on high all the time, then the programming was changed. Is this a used car? Did the previous owner retune the car?

Just recently bought it its 2008 69k milles, owner told me that it always has to be on because it has very big engine.I think yes because fan makes a loud noice. Other thing when you take fan fuse out it shots and temperature starts raising then when you put fuse back right always fan turns on on max speed. If it was programming how can reprogram it ?or if i will do it will engine overheat then?also can radiotor cooling module went bad?

Sounds like it was reprogrammed to work on high. Mine was also when LG tuned it in 08. 184,000 miles and still works fine. leave it alone, it wont hurt anything.
