Default Does Corsa still offer Touring system for C6

Just picked up a 2006 C6 A6 base with 16K miles and OEM exhaust. I am considering installing Corsa but thought I would go with Touring instead of Sport. Corsa website doesn't list Touring for a 2006. Anyone know if they are still making them. I have an email into them but have not gotten a response just yet.

Don't believe they do but not sure. I have the 'touring' system on my '05' and love it. It's basically the Sport System with a shorter 'H' pipe and two additional tunnel mufflers that bolt directly to the cats. I can remove the tunnel mufflers, put my factory 'H' pipe back in place and have the Sport System. Nice option to have.

I don't think so.

I have the Sport exhaust w/ Corsa X pipe on my 05 and IMHO it is near perfect! I wish it had a bit more noise sometimes, but I decided that Sport was better than the Extreme for cruising.

You don't think so 'what'? I was just saying that my system has four mufflers instead of two. But, the two rear mufflers are the same as the Sport system.

I don't think they have a "touring" option anymore. The "Sport" system I bought was only the mufflers, I added the X pipe because I knew that I it would improve the sound.

I don't think (I don't know for sure) that Corsa offers the 4 muffler option. (2 of the mufflers are resonators)

I see now. I agree. I believe the only year they used four mufflers (resonators) was '05' with the A4 tranny.

Googled Corsa and it looks like no touring option.

Yep, no touring with Corsas only the Sport. I think Borla is still making a touring system for C6.

corsa only shows 2 options except for earlier model corvette has line called performance.
Three also have a $50 rebate going on. But for our C6 they make these two options.
1. sport
2. xtreme

Check for the site catalog http://www.corsaperformance.com/Catalog.aspx

Thanks Elijah. I spoke with them on Friday and your correct for our years only Sport and Extreme. I'm probably going to go with sport. Just confined that most driving is local streets at 25 to 45 mph and I don't want an increase in interior noise or rumble.

Between those two exhausts I'd suggest the sport over the Extreme.
the difference in sound is
1. Sport=Wow that sounds good.
2. Extreme=Like an overly loud Harley that goes by and makes you cringe thinking what the F. Great for a track environment but not something i think your neighbors care to listen to everyday.

I agree, you'll be happy with the Sport System.

Shortly after purchasing my 2006 in Dec '05, a friend did not like his Corsa Touring so I bought it. Installed it on my A6 and all was well until a year or so ago (38,000 miles). The pipe inside the H-pipe turned loose and started to rattle like h*ll. Called Corsa and was quickly told no lifetime warranty here as I was not original purchaser. ( Honisty is the best policy). I was cool with that and decided to go with just a regular X pipe and be done. Don't know what made me do it but I checked Craig's list and a guy had a new H-pipe in the Corsa box, never installed. Called and $225 later it was on my door step. Talk about lucky! Installed it myself so, I'm good for another 11 Years.

To the OP: Try to find a buddy with a lift as all of that exhaust is heavy and very awkward. Good luck whichever way you go.
