Default C6 stripping

I would like a opinion on weather to put some aftermarket stripping on the hood of my base c6 convertible. Do you think it would hurt the resale later on.

That is a purely personal opinion, some love them, some don't. I don't think it would make a sale, but it surely might stall one

As NSF said... could go either way. I bought a GS and it took me a while to find one without striping. Any type of stickers or tack-on flare is a deal-breaker for me, reminds me of a 16 yr old with their first mustang. Just a personal opinion tho.

I'm considering the same. There's lots of Vettes out there with stripes. Pretty sure none of the owners are 16. Vettestripes.com is a good source for different styles. Prices are decent. I've sent for some sample colors.
I'm pretty sure if you want to take them off down road, it isn't a problem to do so.

The stripe is what drew me to this car, I feel it makes it look more aggressive and stands out from every other vette. That being said this is also painted on.

Comparison against a non stripped car.

Yes they come off easily with no damage or paint fade. I had Vettestripes for 7 years.

Now without stripes.

Car is a DD and was parked outside when at work.

I like the stripes on white. I'm still on the fence with my victory red and whether not to do it at all. I'm not especially worried about doing them myself.

+1 for Vettestripes. Adding the stripes to my '08 vert changed its entire appearance, and I get TONS of positive comments from people who say they love the stripes.

And no, I'm not 16. Far from it.

When I first bought the car:

After my visit to Vettestripes. The owner did the install himself.

If you put it on and don't like it you can always take it back off.

I agree, but I'd have to commit for awhile, since the stripes cost $300.

I love the full length stripes on a vette. They look much better IMO.

I actually passed on several C6s in favor of one that had what amounted to about 10k in aftermarket appearance mods. Saved me a ton of cash on something I would have wanted to do anyway.
