I tried searching and read through numerous threads; however, no one seemed to have this issue. I'm hoping that someone can help shed some light on an issue I encountered today while going through the TPMS relearn process.

My car is a 2009 Z06. I recently purchased a set of new wheels/tires with the correct TPMS sensors. I've attempted this process about 8 times now with the same thing happening each time.

- Turn on "accessory mode"
- Hold lock/unlock buttons on remote until horn beeps
- TPMS tool (Orange EL-50448, OEC-T5) to front left tire to start sequence
- Tool positioned on tire sidewall over TPMS sensor area, TX button pressed, horn beeps once

At this point, everything is going perfectly; however, while walking around to the right front tire to continue the relearn sequence, the horn then beeps again before I have a chance to position the tool on the next wheel.

Both the TPMS tool and battery are brand new.

I also put my original wheels/tires (no TPMS issues) against the car and tried to go through the relearn procedure to eliminate the potential TPMS sensor variable with the new wheels/tires. The same thing happens while trying to program the original wheels/tires/sensors that were just removed from the car today (working perfectly).

Has anyone experienced this issue or have any insight into what I'm doing wrong? This really should be a simple procedure!

Well, nevermind

I decided to try the procedure one last time. Wouldn't you know it, it worked! Weird.
