Kooks and ARH have cats with an X-pipe.

Yes they do you can buy them with or without cats. Mostly all the headers come for the C6 uses a X-pipe or you should get one. An I don't know why but if you don't want cats Hinson will come with an X-Pipe but if you want cats and go with Hinson it comes with an H-Pipe I don't know why they did that but they did. I think when the C6's came out they only had an H-pipe stock then went to X-pipes. That being said I guess Hinson figured lets not go back to the drawing board and leave well enough alone with the cats and H-Pipe setup. I guess they wanted to be different. LoL

Whatever you choose Maryland speed shop definitely has the best prices talk to the manager his name is Brandon.
I went with LG Street headers because they had the best torque, torque is what you want.
There should be some good Fourth of July sales going on

NSF,

I have the same setup as you except for the new plugs my 13 GS only has a little over 4k miles on it and I had the work done right when it hit 2500. I also agree that Maryland Speed gave me the best price. Car is definitely louder and faster I had it tuned by a Corvette shop about an hour from me. Couldn't be happier with the results I had it on the dyno but I can't recall where I put the printouts to give real numbers of before and after.

NSF PS Since you wanted brands I will say that the
Kooks fit very well (non coated, 1 3/4" Catted to my NPP)
Good rep
Everything needed for the install is included, everything!!!
Stage 8 locking fasteners also.
Pipe bands are of good quality.
I also purchased
MSD Super wires
DEI spark plug boots
New plugs
ThermoTec Cool-It tunnel shield cover (it did lower the console temps)
Car is LOUDER, and faster !!
Dave told me and he was right

I went with LG super pro from Maryland Speed. Great price, much lower if you call Brandon. Been waiting longer than expected however.

Belanger Custom Tri-Y Headers.....I bolted on (perfect fit by the way) 54hp!! They are beautifully handmade, and as I said, fit perfect. You can call Lou Belanger and speak to him personally and he will fill you in as to cost and why the Tri-Y design produces the most hp of any header you can buy. He know more about exhaust and flow mechanics than anyone I've ever known. I've been a drag racer for 57 years, and had Belanger Headers on my 94 Viper RT/10, 2005 Commemorative Edition Viper convertible, and my 69 AMX 390 4 speed. Incredible power delivery and the sound is killer! Call Lou, it's worth the time to find the most hp for the buck......623-594-6600....Belanger Performance Headers and Exhaust. By the way, Lou Belanger Sr. started building headers for drag racing in the 50's and they were the choice of most of the racers in California at that time.......Lou (Jr) has been fabricating these fabulous headers for 40+ years.

These are the Belanger's that I installed on my 2007.......just look at the perfect fabrication!
