Depends....
Maybe the Vitnese (sp) or like throttle controller....over all driving fun. $200
Lowering and custom alignment...again overall driving fun. $300
Mufflers...if you like louder exhaust. $500
Floor mats, more interior leather...for driving environment fun. $750
Better stereo speakers...again for driving environment fun. $1000

Otherwise it is the package...cold air, headers, tune. $2000

Bolt on is a vague term in my opinion, I see a supercharger kit as "bolt on". If it's a LS2, I would do a ported FAST intake, a used cold air intake, Texas Speed headers and a tune.

Gears but those and headers/tune etc may exceed your budget

Like the supercharger idea even though way out of budget. Good manners and crazy torque everywhere. Noone would know either till you leaned on the throttle.

With the supercharger you have to figure out how to get the power to the ground or its all a waste .....

On the LS2 I would recommend the following on your budget to get the most bang for the buck.
1. Airaid intake- $300
2. Vmax ported throttle body- $275
3. Radically ported LS2 intake manifold- $375
4. ECS tune- $149
5. Throttle booster, I have the COW, $200
This is around the $1300 range and will really give you a nice boost in your LS2. Plus, all of these mods can be done yourself, saving tons of $$$.
For the LS3, scrap all of this and go for the headers!

If it's a manual transmission, put in a MGW shifter. Best money that I have spent on my car.

For about same price as headers and tune I really like my 4:10's. Complete rebuilt differential with some nice upgrades. Manual of course.

I had the headers too and loved them but being in California I had to remove them at first emission testing.

If this is to pricey I would look into better shocks and tires when the time comes.
