Ok guys I need your help. . I posted last week that my 2009 C6 wouldn't start but did after several tries. Well I went out to my car to go home and it wouldn't start. So had it towed to the dealer and they confirmed that it was one of the fuel pumps. So I picked it up Saturday and drove it home and it seemed to be fine . Made a couple of stops and then on my last stop the car wouldn't start. Good thing I was close to home. So tow truck comes and as we are getting it on the truck I tried one more time and it started. Left it running for a few minutes then killed it . Waited few more minutes and tried again and it started. So had the tow it to the dealer any way. Got it back yesterday after they said it was a bad battery. I replaced the battery and it started right up after a couple of hours of just sitting I ran to the store and it start up with no problems . Came out of the store and won't start again. After about 15minutes of trying it finally started. Drove it home and got up this morning and it started but roughly. Let a run a few minutes then killed it . I let it sit a few minutes and now it won't start. WTH is wrong . I know it's not the battery like they said cause it's a brand new battery. Any ideas cause this is driving me crazy
Have you checked the battery cables at both the battery and the starter? If the correct nut isn't used on the battery terminals you can end up with a loose connection. How about the alternator connections? A bad alternator will cause a battery to die when it doesn't charge.
What does it do when you hit the start button? Click/nothing or crank over and over without starting?
BTW, there is only one fuel pump so if the dealer said "one of the fuel pumps" they don't know what they're doing. I hope you get reimbursed for that serious and needless expense.

This is the question, what exactly happens when it does not start?
I think the problem is that it will crank but the engine refuses is start, like no fuel pressure, in reading the OP's other post on this matter.
To the OP
Check the connection at your starter solenoid. I had the same symptoms and spent so much time troubleshooting. I know several others who had this problem too. One in particular knew to check this after reading my thread in the past.
thanks guys for all the suggestions. after a 2 weeks of not having the car I got it back finally and the issue was some kind of wiring harness that goes to the fuel pump was bad. So even though they replaced the fuel pump the harness was bad. Dealership said that its just something goes bad after awhile and nothing really causes it just goes bad from all the heat under the car.
Dealers are notorious for trial and error repair attempts, they don't care how many times they try and fail so long as you pay the bill. I know from experience a fuel pump is ~$2500 at a dealer.
I would follow up with them regarding the previous repair bills that did not fix the problem. Ask what diagnostics were done to confirm that each repair was needed, because apparently they weren't needed. Ask what they can do for you about the money you spent on repairs that did not solve the problem. They'll likely act like weasels and blow smoke at you, and you'll have to figure out how far you want to push, but its almost certain they knock something off the bills and credit it back to you.
I make it a habit of asking for diagnostics before okaying a repair, and always ask what do we do about the bill if the problem persists? Good luck, hope they got it right this time.

Dealer needs to return some funds, they missed the real problem..
You may not have noticed but in the last three weeks i have done multiple posts on the same issue, thought it was the battery, nope, installed a new starter, nope, checked the crank relay and fuel pump relay, nope, it was the clutch switch that your clutch pedal presses on. in the heat the two/three wires lose contact some how if you just reach under the clutch pedal you'll see the switch make sure the switch itself has not slid down because they do get loose over time, and then wiggle the cables going to it. Ive been fighting a no start issue for 2 years and that is what it was. you can see in the schematic i posted that its one of the few items keeping the car from starting to check

To be clearer, your issue was that your car would not crank? I think I'm right reading your other posts quickly.
The OP's issue was not exactly the same, as his car would crank but would not start at random. Turned out to be a fueling issue though.
Thanks for posting this, as it will help many here with similar issues like yours.
