From factory these use a hybrid tune. Below 3500 it blends the MAP and MAF readings. MAP is used for low air speed and quick transistions where the maf is not as accurate. Past 3500 the maf is used.
In the tune, you can have it run maf only, hybrid, or map only if desired.

Thanks for the responses. Are there advantages/disadvantages to running hyrbid or one over the other?
Like I said above, maf does not read accurately at low air speeds, or react quick enough on tip in/quick throttle changes. So the Map used there. Maf is more accurate once air is moving past it quick enough, so that is why factory runs hybrid, so you get best of both worlds, and another advantage is if one fails, it can then switch to running the one that isn't failed until you can repair it.
