Yes. Since I was taking the hood and front bumper off anyway, it was easy getting them out. One headlight came apart fairly easily and took maybe 2 hours all told in getting the lens off, cleaning it up and sealing the new lens on. The other was really difficult to get apart and took me 3-4 hrs and a lot of bad words just to get it apart. I heated it in the oven 4 times. The sealant Umnitza gives you is very good to work with. Stretch it to get the diameter smaller, insert it in the groove, heat it in the oven at 250 degrees for 10 min and the lens goes right on and seals down real nice.

I've only had my C6 for 16 months and 12K miles, but it seems like I've been waiting forever to take some pictures without those terrible headlight lenses and sandblasted nose. My Vert is an '05 Z51 car with every factory option, but it had 190K on it when I got it. Remarkably the car has no rattles, drips, smoke and runs literally like a new car. Fast and smooth! After changing the headlight lenses and getting the hood, front and rear bumper painted, it finally looks as good as it runs. Couldn't afford a newer or low mileage car, but I lucked out on this car and understand the passion many of you have for this great car after a short time. I like the stock look and the base body so the only additions I've made are 2013 Starfish wheels, my favorite, and the WindRestrictor. Don't want to get into a lens war, but I used OEM gaskets and Umnitza lenses, which I found to be a very high quality, well fitting, tremendous improvement to the previously tired look front. Love that car!

I have had a couple minor issues with the car. I did the "stuck in Park" fix, replaced the door latch mechanism on the drivers door and put new TPMS valves in when I changed wheels. I got a complete Carfax with the car, even every oil change. It was maintained at a Chevy dealer in Miami. The only relative major repair was Harmonic balancer replaced at 175K. Brakes including Rotors were like new and ALL fluids replaced at 175K also.
