Cool project. Look forward to seeing the progression. BTW, what ever happened with the car in the container?

Nice project! You are making my dream ride ... except the moving the driver to the "wrong" side

About 8 hours straight drive. However, if you are on vacation and have the time drive along the coast line. We drove along the coast from Melbourne (not all the way to Adelaide) a few years ago. Fantastic ride/views!

That's crazy, a guy bought wheels from me yesterday and he said he was doing the exact same thing. Name was Tony, lives in Michigan.

I did the great Ocean Road last year. What an awesome experience. My daughter lives in Melbourne, so I am in your country every year for my annual visit with her. I will be back again in early November. I would have loved to check out your project in person, but I don;t think I will have enough time. Please keep us updated though.

For memory about 800 kilometers between Adelaide to Melbourne. A good days drive.
Nice pic of the Great Ocean Road. Heck of a nice drive that is.

As there seems a bit of interest, I'll keep posted progress on this project.

Yes, it would interesting to see his approach.
Ar least he doesn't need to do a right hand drive conversion like we need to do.

This will be a fun project to watch as you make progress. Please post photos along the way if you can. Very interesting project and very ambitious.

Thanks for all the interest Guys:- didn't really know how this would be received.

I'll do my best to post pics:- I'm not real good at this, but hopefully get better.
We have been on this for 4 years now, and honestly got that far to go again I reckon.
Yes, it is an ambitious project, and some days are pretty challenging, but we are making decent progress.

There's lot I could add, but I figured your eyes would glaze over at times so I have refrained from this.

Real happy to help anyone else out there who wishes to do similar.
Thanks
Ross

Wasn't it you that started the thread a few weeks back about the salvage C6 and your fear that Aussie authorities were going to dismantle it looking for asbestos?
