Phone app to track car maintenance
Anyone using a good app on their phone to track their car maintenance, remind them of upcoming maint/inspection, etc.? I've been keeping my maint history in OneNote and would love to use an app that's designed specifically for this and has the extra bells and whistles. Also, would be nice to store receipts and other linked info.
thanks

Also use it to keep track of my fuel mileage.

I use an app called Fuel Monitor that also tracks maintenance.

Can these apps tell how many miles the car has been driven since the last maintenance? If they don't and can only remind you by number of months, what do they offer over the phones' native reminder app, other than perhaps a car-themed UI?

I dunno. Guess i'm to old fashion. I got a piece of paper I have on my tool board that I list the date after every maintenance job on all our vehicles. Like...."Harley oil changed on 6/20/17" @ 15,000-K. Easy....cheap....and it's staring at you every time your at your work bench.......

On the one I use you can put average miles driven per day. It will then automatically add that many miles per day to you maintenance. to estimate when the next service is due.
also when you fill up. You can update your mileage if you are using the fuel log as well.

On my iPhone I use "Gas Cubby". I track everything. It's free.

Been using 'aCar' for a few years and like it a lot. Simple, tracks fuel, mileage, maintenance, etc. Charts, graphs, statistics. With 6 vehicles to track (and 5 others retired) it's nice to have that info at my fingertips.

I agree this is easiest way for oil change alone.
I'm looking for a central app or site that I can track all maintenance, repairs, parts replacements, inspection reminders, etc. for 5 cars. Because 3 of my cars see less than 1500 miles or so per year, and some are too old to have DIC reminders ;-), I need something that I can push more from a manual entry. I currently swap oil every year in the low usage cars and log it manually... just looking to track other fluid replacements, parts replacement/upgrades, include pic if necessary as well as receipts, etc. Basically looking for a single digital repository I can go to when looking up these maint/repair timing, details, etc.
