The C6 widebody sure is a timeless legend. In 20 years people will laugh at the Aztek inspired styling of the C7... What parachute pants & mullets were to the 80s is what C7 style will be to automotive history..
[I]I love mine. Never get tired of looking at it. I drive the crap out of it too. Full 3M wrap so it still looks like new almost 5 years later. Love this car!
BEAUTIFUL CAR, love the wheels and what color is that?

I agree. I've had 10 Corvettes over the years, starting with a C3 ('73). Two C6's (05 & 06). I think I found what I was looking for to begin with. It may never be worth a lot of money, but I probably will never sell it. If I want to drive it, its there, if I don't, its still there to look at. And it never gets old when somebody else wants to see and hear it, much less go for a ride. Always turns heads.
my c6 atomic orange vert still knocking folks out.
at 40,000 miles still tight as a ship, way roomier, and 400hp.
i do hope the C8 can really tempt me, because the C7 sure didn't. i'd like to have one more new corvette in my life time.
until then i'm a very very happy c6 owner.

I might as well jump in here with my 2006 base coupe that has 96,000 on it now. I've had two other Vetts in the past. A 1984 c4, a 1999 c5, and this 2006 c6. I have loved them all, but this one is my favorite. I love the lines and the interior the only thing I would do over would be to get the GS instead of the base model. But this car had so much going for it that I couldn't pass it up.
One owner, absolutely meticulously maintained, oil changed every 3k miles, all fluids changed every 30k, the dealer put in a new steering wheel, HUD and windshield. I paid 17,000 for it and it looks and drives like a new car. I'm waiting for cooler weather to change out the shocks, breaks, and tires. I think it's the best looking vett ever made.

I love the P40SC on this body, seriously my favorite wheel on this car. She's gorgeous!

That’s a great looking color and wheels on your Vette.
My car history always left me wanting more performance. Bought a Nissan 280 in ’87, a ’92 Toyota MR2 Turbo in ’94 and sold both privately after 7 and 9 years ownership. Then, a Lexus SC400 was a good change for 7 years and traded it to a GM dealer for my ’08 Vette in 2010.
The LS3 performance has proven to be everything I wanted in my earlier daily driver cars. If I decided to move up to the next sports car level, today, I would likely buy a C6 ZR1.
I used to be the same way. And there were a lot of cars that I regret letting go.
Here's the solution. Don't get rid of the current car yet. Buy another and drive it for a while. I mean like a month or two at least, without ever getting in the Vette once. Then get back in the Vette and drive it daily for about a week. Do this a few times and if you don't feel like you really missed the Vette while you were away, then maybe it's time to move on to something else.
Life is too short to drive a car that you aren't absolutely in love with. There are plenty of really great cars out there.
I started doing this a while ago and always kept two fun cars, leap frogging to the next fun car. Now I'm stuck on my Corvette and WRX because I can't find anything that will replace either car satisfactorily.

I must agree. Best wheels I ever brought.
Cyber_Greg your car is stunning. Actually all the cars in this thread are beautiful.
Everyday I think about buying a C7. I love the C7, but I also love the C6. Especially the GS\427 versions. Nothing like a low and wide convertible. I may jump to a C7 next summer. But for now I'm enjoying the C6.

I still think the C6 is the better looking design.
