I love mine. Never get tired of looking at it. I drive the crap out of it too. Full 3M wrap so it still looks like new almost 5 years later. Love this car!
Beautiful C6 you got 😎👍
love mine too, but hate the wheels. C6 lines reminds me of the early C3
I'm the same..... I had a 2001 Mercedes SLK 320 when I decided to go back to the corvette. I sold my 1999 vert in 2007 after finding I wasn't driving it enough to justify having it. But after 10 years of otheir sport cars I decided to get back to the real love of my life.
I didn't have a lot of $$$ to spend so I had to get a 2006 coupe with 95,000 miles on it,,,, but what a great car it has turned out to be.
One owner, very well maintained, like new condition, $17,000.
I love it and never looked back at the merc.
This might be my last car as I'm 76 but if it is, it's a fine way to go out.
Love your post, Gord. I'm 64 and intend to have my C6 until my end. I imagine it will go to my son.

Cyber_Greg your car is stunning. Actually all the cars in this thread are beautiful.
Everyday I think about buying a C7. I love the C7, but I also love the C6. Especially the GS\427 versions. Nothing like a low and wide convertible. I may jump to a C7 next summer. But for now I'm enjoying the C6.
These have been my favorite wheels on a C6. They just fit the C6 perfectly. Always liked them and still feel the same.
my c6 atomic orange vert still knocking folks out.
at 40,000 miles still tight as a ship, way roomier, and 400hp.
i do hope the C8 can really tempt me, because the C7 sure didn't. i'd like to have one more new corvette in my life time.
until then i'm a very very happy c6 owner.
We have the same Atomic Orange convertible Vette. I absolutely love this car. My wife and I went for an early evening ride tonight through some twisty back roads and, damn, it's so much fun.
The first Corvette I recall seeing was a C2 Red convertible at Seabrook Beach NH, I fell in love with the car, I was 8 or 9 years old, there were no Corvettes in my small town. I always wanted a Corvette, finally bought one when I retired, it was a 1982 Collectors Edition. The C3 replaced the C2 as the most beautiful in my eyes. I replaced the C3 with a C7. Honestly the C7 was boring to drive, I realize that doesn’t make sense. It was like driving a fast Cadillac, a very comfortable tourer, but no spirit or soul. I now have a C6 DSOM with a 6 speed and convertible. It is a blast to drive, it has character and soul. Driving around New England you get to hear the sounds, smell the fresh air and have fun. I should have bought the C6 in the first place.
I bought my 09 in August 2021. I considered C5-C7, but the C6 08-13 became the focus of my search. LS3, M6, analog gauges, and flowing lines - it ticked all my boxes. I bought it with a few clicks over 5,000 miles and crossed 6,500 on my commute last Friday. I’m 60 and feel no need to move on - to me, it’s perfect.

I'm on my fourth C6, '05, 10, 12, and now '13. I tried the C7 and hated the seats. Would not consider a C8 automatic.
Same here. I’m also on my fourth (2006 Z51 Coupe, 2008 Z06, 2010 ZR1, and now a 2011 Grand Sport convertible). I’m still looking forward to a C8, but not at the current prices (and I also like the manual trans cars). I keep coming back to the C6. For me at 6’4” and over 300 lbs, they are way more comfortable than either the C7 or C8 even though they improved the headroom in the C8 over the C7. I will never own a C7.

Not much to look forward to after the C6... if I go with a newer car it will not be a Corvette.
This is my second Vette over the years. my first was a 76 coupe. This one takes the cake, the ride and handling is so nice and the evening cruises on these Va backroads are priceless. This is a 2006 3lt with 45k.
Very nice! Looking at the picture I was thinking … a Torch Red top would really match nicely. If you ever have to replace the top , just something that jumped out at me. I bet evening rides with the top down is pretty great - continue to enjoy!
Beautiful C6s, appreciate you sharing. The pictures really show the beauty of the design - coupe or convertible. The regular C6 is a 10, but the wide body styling does turn it up to 11. Chevy really got the lines and proportions right.. and everything beyond the styling is quite impressive too.

LOL I know the feeling I had a 2003 SL500 damn car was awesome, but traded it in for my 2012GS Vert. My GS is awesome as well. I wanted to keep both but wife said one needs to go. lol 64yrs old here!
