...got me to thinking about how much MONEY I HAVE SPENT ON my car since I bought it...

Just kidding. It is a very pretty car, tastefully done.
Ed, very nicely done, sir!
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Not sure if it will ever end. I see myself doing some type of WB/SV mod and painting the stripes vs. the vinyl if I keep the car long enough.
Looks good

Plain Jane base 08 Jetstream Blue.

I painted the silver stripes front to back, similar to the 60th anniversary stripes. Painted the halo black, added front splitter and side skirts, painted them carbon flash. Added a GM pre painted rear spoiler. Painted the calipers red. And replaced the original and completely shot headlight lenses.

Painted the engine plastic bits. It was actually rattle can paint from oreillys. Matched pretty dang close though!! Followed by several coats of automotive clear.
Also had the mufflers removed. Now it sounds like a proper Corvette, to me.

first '07 base coupe when as I bought it................
cleaned and detailed it and first show a month later.................
then added black chrome wheels and tires, full width GM OEM rear spoiler and went to Back to the Bricks show in Flint, MI with it in 2015.........
sold that one in June of '16 and then found this "new to me" 427 convertible..................
photo from the night it was brought home........................
and a little over a year later it now looks like this.....................
black headlights, installed side skirts, and front air dam, Eagle Eye taillights............and applied Adam's Ceramic Coating just prior to this photo...............(photo taken in early June '17)
