Newby shows up with buyer's remorse after buying an '07 with the Z51 option and tries to justify the purchase by creating a thread comparing his LS2 to a LS3. Next, he'll try the Z51 option vs F55, then M6 vs A6, red vs black, etc, etc, etc. Of course, he will avoid any comparisons to the several other improvements introduced starting in '08.
My advice is to enjoy what you have. When you no longer enjoy it, get something else.

Victory Red is like Fire Truck Engine Red.
Have you ever ran the quarter mile in your 08? Is it consistent with the supposed "real world data" posted earlier?

. And on the other note....yes, there are only two real colors for a Corvette.....Black and Victory red......

maroon was not an '08 color. Only Victory Red and Crystal Red Metallic.

Most guys here don't want a car that's been repainted different than original.
