its a high mileage vehicle but affordable for me. this will be my first car loan since 1994.

Like jeeps, all Corvettes need a removable top and manual trans and this one is no different than my C5

FWIW It took a small act of God to talk to a real person when applying for the loan.

I guess it was a sign from God not to buy it but the seller couldn't be bothered to show up at the bank at the appointed time to hand over the title.

Well that just sucks, although this one maybe plagued with crazy problems.
But on the other hand, it's a buyers market with winter setting in real soon.
