Texas 2K along with other activities. Its still a toss up though with me being able to work remotely from anywhere, as for the girlfriend being a nurse it has many options. Dallas doesnt look too bad either.
er nurse, floor nurse? my fiancee was an er nurse at childrens for almost 12 years, then got tired of seeing kids die (who wouldnt), and now works for an insurance company doing case management from home. doesnt pay as well as the er, but still dang good. if you come to dallas and it is something she would be interested in hit me up
parkland, methodist, and baylor are all the dallas trauma centers if that is more her thing
Age 70 was 68 when this fabulous car came along. Up to that point it was station wagons, family vans and economy commuter cars. In 1984 I left the performance car meme and parted company with my 1969 428 Cougar XR7 that was my daily driver from new.

She wants to get into OBGYN and deliver babies, so she would be seeing the other side of that spectrum. Dallas is definitely on our radar and I hear its a great city.
UPDATE:
Now 76,,, 77 in July
Living in paradise here in Florida just driving around all year long.
No freaking snow.
My 2006 C6 with 98,000 on it and it looks and drives like new,,,even better than new now that I think about it.
First Vette last year at age 73. 2009 C6 Z51 white coupe. Have enjoyed every mile. The only thing wrong with interstate travel is wanting to get off at every exit so you can get back on!
I am curious to know what age were most of you when you purchased your first Corvette? A lot of guys aged 50 and above in this thread and this for sure can't be your first Corvette's.

As I stated in a previous post I bought my first vette at 31...about 15 years ago.
I had wanted a vette since my best friend in high school and his dad restored a '77 C3. He drove me around in that thing all the time. I thought I was hot stuff.

Also stated elsewhere, I was 23 when I bought a 64 roadster, with 4sp, posi, factory sidepipes, and not much else. Unfortunately, it took another 47 years to own another one. I little math tells you I'm heading for 71. I think.

Bought my first Vette last October at 54. Now a few days from 55. Don't know why I waited so long. This is, hands down, the most fun, exciting, fastest car I've ever owned. And I owned a DeLorean.
