Geeze Vettes were a lot cheaper when you were 16

My Dad was what they called a 90 Day Wonder(officer training) in the Navy WWII, shortly before I was born..
Born about 8 months after Pearl Harbor
Let's see it was before Test Patterns(quite a bit)....
Never had sex education in school, but we figured it out pretty quick
1st Vette was a 3 yr old 1960

A vette now helps keep me feeling younger

70 now, 71 in May 2018. Have been driving Corvettes since 1998. Would be nice to have less creaks and pains when getting into and out of the C6. Even harder to work on them myself.

Default Ain't Growing Up

Had a '64 coupe in 1965 and bought a new red '67 390hp 427 coupe ($4250 with discount) in November '66. Played with sporty cars and boats for quite a few years. Bought a silver '08 3LT C6 in March '17 for my 79th birthday. Good to be back in a Vette.
P.S. MGW shifter is great!

Corvettes are age-stoppers! My first was a '68 427/390, and 19 Corvettes later, I'm in a slick '08, and just ran from ME to the Keys. Most of the way MPH matched age...80! More fun to come...

If you did that using US-1, you're my hero! (Hate slabs. Even in a Corvette, I hate slabs.)

I got my first Corvette at 18. It was a 62 hardtop/convert. I sold it in 1972 and that was one of my many mistakes in life. That taught me to never sell a Corvette again and that is why I own 4 of them now.

I got my first vette.....a '92 coupe. 92K miles. Green with tan interior. 6speed manual (actually only 5 speed since second gear didn't work. I got pretty good at 1st to 3rd gear shifts...in 2004 at the ripe old age of 31. I have had five Vettes in the almost fifteen years since.

31 now and has almost been a year with my 07 Z06. Wish I lived somewhere warmer so I can drive her year round. Houston is looking like a good possibility in the near future.

I'm 63. I was 59 when I got my first Corvette. I'm already scouting around for my second... I "need" a Grand Sport this time around.

We made a trip in 2014 from Missouri to Ashville, NC up the Blue Ridge Parkway, then over to Virginia Beach then up to Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Upper Tier of New York, Western PA and then back home. Stopped at this light house. Does it look familiar?

I am 61 - and was in first grade when Kennedy was shot. I should have been saving up for a '67, or at least trying to convince my dad to buy one...

Texas 2K along with other activities. Its still a toss up though with me being able to work remotely from anywhere, as for the girlfriend being a nurse it has many options. Dallas doesnt look too bad either.
