Lights
This is how you get the bezel out to start with,
Once you have the bezel out, remove the screws that hold the pod assembly to the back of the bezel, then pop the front cover off the pod to get to the board. you will need to de-solder the old bulbs, and solder in new ones.

Now the kick in the nuts since radio shack went under and where you could just pick up the needed #7219 micro lamps the same day from them, you can now just get them from amazon and have them sent to you instead.
P.s, it abnormal for all the bulbs to burn out at the same time, so if this is the case, then first double check to make sure that the board is plugged in, and if plugged in and you have power to the connector, then check the board for a broken traces that you may be able to just repair with a solder and a jump wire.
Huge note, when you are putting the bezel back in, make sure that the cabin temp sensor does not pop off the back of the bezel and drops into the bowels of the dash isntead.
Hence once you have the bezel back in, look at the slots just left of the starter button, and make sure you see the blue piece of the cabin temp sensor right behind the slots. Yes, it loves to pop off as you are final snapping in the bottom of the bezel.

And is the end blue piece that you are really looking for just behind the slots.

Thank you for being so helpful. That covers everything I needed to know.
Now do you or anyone in the forum knows the type of LED's (model numbers) to use to replace the lights. Since I am going to follow the suggestions of what has been written in the thread, I am going to change all of them to LED's , change it to the color red. That way I do all at once.

As for how they are going to work with the dimmer system in the car/start to hyper flash as well, don't have a clue.
Truth is, if you want red, then would stick with the 7219 bulbs, and just cap them with red color caps, or find them that have been red covered isntead.
