I have a GM credit card that is offering a $100 credit for service at the dealership. I have a 2013 C6 which I put into storage last month. I decided to take it out of storage to have a coolant change since it is a required service after 5 years. Should I have changed the oil before putting it in storage? Now that I have the opportunity before putting it back in storage. The Oil has 1300 miles on it.
Thank you for your comments. The $100 credit is good for any service at a Chevy dealership.
The Oil was changed last August. It now has 1300 miles on the Oil. Would you recommend the oil change after I take it out of storage in April?

Wouldnt hurt. You can change it once a year without a problem. In fact Mobil is selling oil made to be changed once a year. Synthetic is tough. Changing it now is silly
You should be just fine with only 1,300 miles on it. If its a deal breaker and bothers you then I would have the oil changed and maybe the oil filter too The anti freeze is very easy to change yourself and I do mine every two years. I just do a drain and fill I don't flush it out or anything and by doing it every couple years it looks like brand new. Plus, I don't have to worry about a big air bubble in the system. Personally, I like to run mine once a week for about 15 minutes and have been doing this for years. I do have two friends of mine that have fairly new C-6s and they had to have a new AC compressors installed because the cars sat too long without being started up.
