Good luck in your search.
Thing is I wasn't looking when I stumbled on this one. I'm happy with my C5, but I wasn't going to pass up what looked like a sweet deal. But then again as the old saying goes...If it sounds too good to be true....it probably is.

If he's legit and can't find the title he can apply for a duplicate title through Motor Vehichles, but i agree don't waste your time with him until he can produce a legit title.

Make sure that its not a flood damaged car. They're starting to show up here in Washington State now. Good Luck.

Maybe he ll call...I think he will resist the car...

His price wasn't too low but it was on the low side,,,for a mint 20k 2008..

i paid 30k for my 2008 Z51 LS3 with 20k miles. I don't see how anyone would sell that car for 20k. Gotta be something wrong.

I just bought a 2005 2LZ in Daytona Orange with only 16,300 for $19,900. It’s the off season in Utah and the guy wanted the garage space for his truck and wife’s minivan. He just put new tires on it 600 miles ago. It was online 1 month at $24,000 but most of the people wanted a newer rife with the LS3 engine.

I realize it's the oldest and most base model C6......but it's the only way a poor firefighter like me could live the dream and drive a Vette. The kids in my neighborhood wave and give me a thumbs up when I drive by. I LOVE IT!! I had my mechanic put it on the lift and he gave it a solid 9+ out of 10. So here's hoping that a previous garage queen becomes an incredible driver for years to come!

Good luck on your car. Hope it works out for you.

P.S. I'm like a little kid every time I open the garage and see my car...it's beautiful and makes me smile every time!

It seems he's in some kind of a financial bind. I am pretty skeptical...BUT,.. I'm definitely going to go over it from stem to stern, and then I'm going to drive it like I stole it, pun intended. If it all checks out I'd be a complete idiot not to buy it, if for nothing else, to flip it. I have a great C5 now, but it might be fun to have a C6 with a 6spd for awhile. He contacted me last night and said he WILL have the title this coming week, so we'll see. Oh, another thing. He doesn't seem to have any personal attachment to the car, I'm thinking inheritance. He only sees the car as a way to get some quick cash.
