I have not found the weight limit in the service manual either. The answer seems to be that the passenger presence sensor (PPS) is a calibrated scale (not just a switch) that weighs the passenger exactly after being calibrated to measure not only the pressure on the silicone bladder but also the cushion padding and seat cover. It must be recalibrated with a tech II for zero any time any part of the passenger seat is replaced.
Bottom line is the factory knows but isn't telling. And I can understand that because if they gave a specific weight and someone either smaller of larger than that limit is killed by the air bag, then the lawyers would point to the limit as the cause of the death.
